Simply bake your donuts, make the 2-ingredient glaze and set out colorful toppings for a fun dessert display at your next party.

Baked Vanilla Donuts

Donut Ingredients

3 tablespoons butter, melted

3/4 cup Domino® Granulated Sugar

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup milk

2 large eggs

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

Donut Instructions

Preheat oven to  425° F. Grease 2 large-sized donut pans; set aside.

In a large  mixing bowl, with an electric mixer, cream together butter and sugar. Add sour  cream, milk, eggs and vanilla; mix well. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Mix  until all of the dry ingredients are incorporated well into the wet  ingredients.

Fill each donut opening 2/3 full with batter. Tap the bottom of each pan  to help smooth out the batter.  Bake 7-8  minutes.

Remove to a cooling rack for a few minutes. Lift  each donut out, running a small rubber spatula around each edge or turn the pan  over onto parchment paper and pop out donuts.

Allow donuts to cool.

Glaze Ingredients

1 cup Domino® Confectioners Sugar

2 tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon water

Glaze Instructions

Using a whisk, stir sugar and water together to make a glaze. Dip the tops of the donuts into the glaze; set on parchment paper and immediately decorate with toppings as desired. Let glazed donuts sit 5-10 minutes before transferring to serving dish.

Makes 12 donuts.
